My Story
María Esther Puerto Herrera is a dedicated professional with a strong background in the field of pharmacy. She currently holds the position of Managing Director at Ocean Spa Pharmacy. María earned her degree in pharmacy from Granada and furthered her education with a Master's degree in orthopaedics. She has also completed courses in parasitology, natural plants, and nutrition.
María's career journey began as a pharmacist substitute at Louis Pharmacy in Gibraltar from 2003 to 2005, followed by a stint in Ireland (Dublin) where she worked in pharmacy companies and briefly filled in at a psychiatric hospital. From 2009 to 2011, María worked at Kings Pharmacy in Gibraltar, then leading to working as a Managing Director at Family Pharmacy from 2015 to 2020.
Prior to her managerial roles, María gained valuable experience in Spain, where she completed pharmacy practices at Pharmacy Clavijo and worked at Spain Pharmacy Nectares for a year. Her diverse professional experience and commitment to the field of pharmacy highlight her passion for healthcare and patient well-being.
